Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and develop manual testing before deployment to find bugs and ensure passing robust test suite
  • Create and deliver features by use of test-driven development in a timely manner
  • Deploy new software (bi-weekly with weekly iterations)
  • Achieve the goal of 100% up time by monitoring system use and scale
  • Provide first-line technical customer support and triage
  • Collaborate with Design Team and Developer Community and communicate customer feedback with teams
  • Serve as liaison between Designers and Product Manager in reference to high-level concept of features prior to wireframe development
  • Utilize Agile for projects

Qualifications

  • Master of tools/languages:  Ruby on Rail, Test::Unit/MiniTest/Rspec/Cucumber, HTML/CSS, HAML/SASS, Javascript/Coffescript, jQuery/Backbone.js
  • Ability to think analytically in problem solving, work in a team environment, and clearly communicate
  • CS Degree or equivalent 5+ years experience
  • Experience with e-commerce, video-media, and web 2.0
  • Detail-oriented
