Do you have a keen eye to identify and satisfy operational requirements and make appropriate improvements?  If you’re a motivated Developer that is constantly looking for innovative ways to maintain and improve existing operations tools and procedures, this DevOps position is an opportunity for you to push your career in the right direction.  In this role, you will be provisioning tasks in a cloud-hosted deployment environment in order to maintain and extend product operations and development tools infrastructures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan/Implement operations development
  • Improve hosted services and development tools
  • Develop/Maintain server and infrastructure automation (Puppet and Chef)
  • Collaborate with development, support, and security teams
    • 24/7 on-call rotation schedule with the other members


REQUIREMENTS

  • Commercial product development (3+ years)
  • Groovy, Ruby, and Bash
  • Deployment automation tools:  Puppet and Chef
  • Linux administration
  • Git, Maven, SBT
  • Amazon EC2 and other AWS tools and technologies
  • MySQL deployment and configuration.
  • SQL queries
  • Data Analysis of tools (Graphite and Carbon)
