Technical Product Manager Director

Social Media Startup in Downtown Austin is looking for a Technical Product Manager Director to support their platform product in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve and leverage product narrative to ensure “in market” and business-to-product context for company’s  product organization
  • Work alongside the Product Advisory Council to identify lead product opportunities and develop market-share, margin, and revenue growth
  • Guide Agile processes in development by creating JIRA stories
  • Cultivate relationships with customers (current and future) to identify software issues in order to ensure overall product quality
  • Work with the UX Design Team to create interaction models, wire frames and high fidelity prototypes
  • Manage company’s time-to-market stress, support, and quality
  • Refine product delivery methods to adapt to expansion with customers and international markets
  • Act as leader in overseeing development teams to identify product direction
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create industry-specific messages
  • Provide prospects, customers, and industry analysts with product presentations and launch plans

Experience:  

  • Technical Product Management (7+ years)
  • SaaS, enterprise software, and social media management (preferred)
  • Introducing market segments to new products
  • Conducting presentations and documentation that communicates:
    • Functional concepts
    • User flows
    • User stories
    • Acceptance criteria
    • Non-functional requirements .
  • Observing industry trends and analysis in terms of corporate and product strategy
  • Controlling beta programs prior to formal release
  • Working with Product Marketing Managers to develop outbound collateral and sales training materials in preparation for a product launch
